The words I am battling
  
"I think it is a dumb idea. No one is going to hire you.  If it is between you and a 20+ year old guy, I'm choosing the guy EVERY time."
 
 
"You are a risk to any shop.  Because you are a woman, and the shop is a boys club and things are said that will likely offend you.  If you get offended, someone really skilled could get fired or the shop could be sued.  You are a financial risk that some shops are not going to be willing to take."
 
"Blue collar eh?"

Riding in cars and trucks with boys .     Alright, I rode on some motorcycles too. They have wheels and I should not discriminate.   I did not have my own car as a teen.   I lived in a small town, the kind where usually everyone knows what you had been up to and who with often times before you even get home and your parents have already heard. Garage Queen

In a day dreaming session I thought up a future apparel company idea: Garage Queen It is a tongue-in-cheek play on the term   "garage queen" reserved for those cars rarely driven and that have all the year specific components, has a dedicated mechanic and transporter for car shows and concourses.  But, turned around to showcase a woman mechanic who passionately cares for her daily driver, which happens to be a beautiful Porsche.   The day dream continued to merch like black baseball caps with golden crowns and a simple white on black wood cut style screen printed logo for a black tee shirt...
